The aim of the EurOCEAN 2023 conference is to highlight the synergies between the EU Mission: Restore our Ocean and Waters, other EU research and management initiatives, and the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development. The Conference slogan “One Ocean, One Voice” highlights the consensus of the international scientific community on the need to restore and safeguard the health of the oceans and the sustainability of the services provided by marine ecosystems for future generations, promoting scientific research and knowledge relevant.
EurOCEAN conferences are major European marine science-policy events organized every 4-5 years. They provide a unique opportunity for the marine research community and all stakeholders to interact with the European policy makers and strategists to consider, discuss and respond to new developments, challenges and opportunities in marine science and technology.
