Andreas Kraemer

Ariel Dinar

Distinguished Professor of Environmental Economics and Policy, University of California. His work addresses various aspects of economic and strategic behavior associated with management of natural resources and the environment. He spent 15 years in the World Bank working on water and climate change economics and policy. Founded the Water Science and Policy Center and founded two technical journals (Strategic Behavior and the Environment, and Water Economics and Policy). International Fellow of the Center for Agricultural Economic Research of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Fulbright Senior Specialist.

Kaveh Madani

Director of United Nations University, Institute for Water, Environment and Health. Environmental scientist, educator, and activist, working at the interface of science, policy, and society. Visiting Professor at the Centre for Environmental Policy and Senior Fellow at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies. He has previously served as the Deputy Vice President of Iran, Deputy Head of Iran’s Dep.of Environment, the Vice President of the UN Environment Assembly Bureau, and Chief of Iran’s Dep. of Environment’s International Affairs and Conventions Center.

Mette Termansen

Professor, Department of Environmental Science; Aarhus University. Environmental and Natural Resource Economist primarily working on spatially explicit economic analysis of land use decision-making, ecosystem service provision and valuation. The range of environmental themes includes biodiversity, climate adaptation and mitigation, water quality and recreation. .

Nicola Beaumont

Merit Scientist. Leads the Sea and Society team at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory. Internationally established expert in the assessment and valuation of biodiversity and ecosystem services. Honorary professor at the School of Environmental Sciences, University of East Anglia, and the College of Life & Environmental Sciences, University of Exeter.
